In this magnificent moment, the whole school was up looking at all the hardworking performers, who have contributed and kept working hard to celebrate this day with great joy. Everyone gathered in one zoom meeting leading us to an amount of hundreds of people in one meeting and this all happened on Saturday 15th August 2020 at 8:30am. This has affected people as they once again remember the astonishing way in which their ancestors fought just for the freedom of their motherland.
Even a little child can tell us that Independence Day, one of the National holidays, is celebrated because it is the day on which India got freedom from the East India Company or the British who had come for business but ended up seizing control of the country. Every year this festival is celebrated with great excitement and we had decided the same for the year 2020. But a deadly virus originated mysteriously in China known as the Covid-19 Pandemic and has spread in the whole world. Due to this, since the past 3 months, our schools are closed and we have been studying online with our friends and teachers. But this virus couldn't stop us from celebrating the Independence Day with great joy and patriotic performances by students, teachers and parents. Something similar happened in the so called one of the most famous schools in whole of India, NES International School Mumbai. All the students, teachers including our Founder Principal sir was present on this great occasion which was celebrated virtually. All of the hard working students have performed in their own houses just for the celebration of this day. Everyone was watching this live show made of videos on the NESISM You tube channel. But this was not where this ends as NESISM is known for doing something unique on these spectacular occasions. Not only students but also parents performed an act educating us on the monuments in India which are worth a visit but yet unknown to us. Many people underestimate India about the presence of historical monuments as they have forgotten that one of the most famous wonders of the world is also located in India known as the Taj Mahal.
"It was a very lovely and thoroughly enjoyable presentation with engaging story on life of Raja Rammohan Roy presented by the students with the support of their teachers. Despite being recorded virtually, the sequencing and editing of the show was perfect and this felt like a mesmerizing live presentation done with lot of heart and effort" my father said.
