Patriotism by the student leaders of NESISM on the grand Virtual event of the 74th Independence Day

Independence Day is celebrated annually on 15 August as a national holiday in India commemorating the nation's independence from the United Kingdom on 15 August 1947, the day when the provisions of the Indian Independence Act 1947, which transferred legislative sovereignty to the Indian Constituent assembly, came into effect. 

The student leaders of NESISM, the teachers and the beloved
parents participated in this prestigious events. In this event, everyone celebrated their freedom as it was India's 74th Independence day. Everybody had joy on their faces as they got reunited virtually after all the pandemic. This was possible only because of the unity and cooperation by each and every participant towards this day. The event started at 8:30 in the morning. 

The event started with a beautiful patriotic song. Everyone had their virtual background of our Tricolour Indian Flag. The student leaders of NESISM started to hosting the event with liveliness. The flag hoisting was conducted where everyone saluted and were very proud of their nation.The respectful principal, Dr. R Vardarajan sir honored the gathering with his significant words followed by the director, Dr. V Balasubramaniam sir. There next was a Youtube Live stream where all the student leaders were performing the life of the one and only Raja Ram Mohan Roy. Not only the students but also the parents were participating. From the dances to the skits, from the songs to the nationalism shown by each and every person present in the event. The event showed us the life of Raja Ram Mohan Roy, where he removed the Sati system from India, which saved many women's life and till date we are so grateful to Raja Ram Mohan Roy for his initiative on the Sati system. He was always against the superstitious practices in the Hindu religion.

He always used to tell that; “The superstitious practices which deform the Hindu religion have nothing to do with the pure spirit of its dictates.” “Just consider how terrible the day of your death will be. Others will go on speaking and you will not be able to argue back.”

The event had come to an end, everyone had the nation in their heart and they felt the gratitude for each and every freedom fighter, because of the ones we are still alive. The event was a grand with patriotism and fun with a lot of information making it an informative and a memorable one.

 NES INTERNATIONAL INDEPENDANCE DAY By Krupa Sulakhi - 23rd August NES International School, Mumbai  celebrated the 74 th  Indian Independence Day virtually.   The Principal, Dr. R. Vardrajan, along with the teachers, students and parents joined the virtual celebration. The event took place at 8:30 A.M. The Principal gave a speech about the nation and about the school. The Director, Mr. V. Bala Subramanium also gave a short speech. After the virtual meeting we had to see the half of the celebration on the youtuble channel of NESISM.    “It was great to have a programme like this and I loved the Biopic on Raja Ram Mohan Roy  ”, said my mother.   Events like this give the parents and students more knowledge about their country and freedom fighters, and his event shows that if lockdown is there or no lockdown is there we can still celebrate he events with the same pomp.

   Gymnastics my little passion                                                                                           What memories they were but what can we do COVID-19 just tackled them. Let's go to the flashback and see everything. It had been 2 to 3 days of me coming to India from Singapore, it was time for this little girl to go to school. Because of staying in Singapore for a long period of time I was well known to English but I took off the wits of my family to teach me our mother tongue. This little girl now started growing and started searching for her passion.
